On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, the Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended that the state grant Betfred USA a license to operate a Sportsbook in Nevada. This recommendation given during a special meeting for the global Sportsbook and iGaming operator prepared the way procedurally for the Nevada Gaming Commission to issue the license today, Thursday, January 26, 2023. This licensing action permits Betfred USA to open the doors to their state of the art 1,250 square foot boutique Sportsbook at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas.
The partnership between Betfred USA and Mohegan Sun, owners and operators of the Las Vegas based Virgin Hotel and Casino, was facilitated by SCCG Management and its CEO and Founder, Stephen A. Crystal.
Said Crystal following the announcement of the licensing action, “The location shows what we offer for a retail setting inside a casino, and everyone wants to come to Las Vegas.”
