SCCG Take — Results show exposure to hold volatility and regional demand shifts. Wynn's liquidity and project contributions signal measured capital allocation to counter near-term pressure.
Wynn Resorts reported third-quarter revenue of $1.69 billion for the period ended September 30, 2026. This compares to $1.83 billion in the prior-year quarter, a drop of $144.7 million that the company linked to slower market conditions and suboptimal hold rates in Las Vegas. Net income fell to $17.3 million from $88.3 million, while diluted net income per share decreased to $0.17 from $0.85. Adjusted property EBITDAR came in at $464.2 million, down from $570.1 million.
All major properties posted year-over-year reductions. Wynn Palace recorded revenue of $583.8 million versus $635.5 million and adjusted property EBITDAR of $165.8 million versus $200.3 million. Wynn Macau generated $335.4 million in revenue and $89.5 million in adjusted EBITDAR, against $365.5 million and $108 million previously. Las Vegas operations delivered $575.2 million in revenue and $158 million in adjusted EBITDAR compared with $621 million and $203.4 million. Encore Boston Harbor produced $194.7 million in revenue and $50.1 million in adjusted EBITDAR versus $211.8 million and $58.4 million.
Liquidity remained solid. As of September 30, 2026, the company held $1.64 billion in cash and cash equivalents, excluding $150.2 million of short-term investments held by Wynn Macau. Borrowing capacity stood at $1.03 billion under the WRF Revolver and $1.35 billion under the WM Cayman II Revolver. Outstanding debt totaled $10.73 billion.
The Macau assets together contributed lower revenue and EBITDAR totals amid regional softness. Las Vegas faced both demand consistency and hold-rate pressure. Boston operations included the resolution of a labor strike. These outcomes occurred against a backdrop of otherwise healthy demand at core venues, according to reporting by Gambling News.
Craig Billings, chief executive officer of Wynn Resorts, stated that the results demonstrated strong operational discipline from teams across all regions. Billings highlighted substantial progress at Wynn Al Marjan Island, with an additional $62.2 million contributed during the quarter for a cumulative total of $1.12 billion. The property is scheduled to open in September 2027. The company repurchased 627,475 shares at an average price of $92.61, totaling $58.1 million, and declared a cash dividend of $0.25 per share payable on November 30, 2026.
These figures place execution focus on cost control and development milestones while regional metrics remain variable. Operators will track how new properties offset near-term revenue softness in established markets.
