Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa announced the grand opening of The Breeze: A Smoke-Free Experience by Hard Rock. The dedicated zone addresses guest requests for smoke-free access across multiple areas of the property. A four-day debut celebration runs November 19–22 and includes special events, promotions, menu specials, and surprise entertainment.

Travis Lunn, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa president, said in a statement: “The Breeze Grand Opening Weekend marks a defining moment for our resort, expanding the way guests can experience Seminole Hard Rock Tampa with greater choice and comfort. This pivotal investment reflects our continued commitment to exceptional world-class hospitality.”

Development Based on Guest Input

The Breeze was built in direct response to feedback from guests who want a completely smoke-free environment. It covers a smoke-free arrival area plus lobby spaces, hotel towers, restaurants, bars, gaming, spa, and pool amenities. Designated smoking areas remain available throughout the rest of the property for guests who prefer them.

Scope of the $30 Million Project

The renovation refreshed casino floor sections from the Elvis piano display to Cipresso, along with the hotel lobby and L Bar. Upgrades included new carpeting, chairs, gaming table felts, and ceiling treatments. As reported by CDC Gaming, the changes deliver added comfort for non-smoking patrons while preserving choice for all visitors. Operators facing similar patron splits may watch whether this model influences future hospitality segmentation in competitive markets.
