The Nevada Gaming Control Board approved preliminary licenses for William Hill sportsbooks at Terrible’s properties in Indian Springs, Carlin, and Searchlight. NGC review is set for November 19. Approval would expand the operator’s Nevada network past 110 outlets under five specific regulatory conditions.
SCCG Take — The partnership extends William Hill’s statewide reach into smaller markets while imposing concrete compliance steps on surveillance, reporting, and operational changes.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board unanimously approved nonrestricted gaming licenses for William Hill to conduct off-track parimutuel race and sports wagering at three Terrible’s casino locations.
The approvals cover properties in Indian Springs, Carlin, and Searchlight. The Nevada Gaming Commission will consider the applications at its November 19 meeting. Final approval would bring the total number of William Hill race and sportsbooks plus kiosk-only locations in Nevada to more than 110.
Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, said: “Nevada has always been home for William Hill, and we’re proud to continue investing in communities across the state.” Hession added: “Through our partnership with Terrible’s, we’re continuing to grow a statewide sportsbook network that extends from Las Vegas to smaller Nevada communities. This expansion helps us reach more sports fans while supporting local casino operators.”
The partnership includes the William Hill sportsbook at Primm Valley Resort & Casino. Sports betting remains available through a William Hill kiosk at the Whiskey Pete’s truck stop, located about 40 miles south of Las Vegas. William Hill has added locations in 2025 and 2026 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Hotel Nevada, Verdi Grillhouse, and Barton’s Club. The company also completed a full renovation of the race and sportsbook at Rio Hotel & Casino.
The preliminary approvals include five conditions. Any change in the agreement or creation of a new agreement between William Hill and the licensed locations must be reported to the NGCB within 30 days. The licensee must comply with NGC Regulation 6.090 and the minimal internal control standards for computerized race and sports pool. An executed reserve agreement must be received and approved by the NGCB Audit Division prior to operations.
Each location’s surveillance system must be inspected and approved by the NGCB Enforcement Division within 60 days of license issuance and maintained at or above the approved standard. Prior administrative approval by the NGCB chair or designee is required to convert a location from kiosk to manned operation or from manned to kiosk. The same prior approval is required for closing or opening a manned satellite operation at any location that uses both formats.
Caesars Sportsbook and William Hill operate on the same underlying technology and product ecosystem. Partners select the brand that best fits their destination and customer base. According to reporting by CDC Gaming, the company continues to invest in its Nevada footprint through new locations, property enhancements, and partner relationships.
