According to Inside Asian Gaming, the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) welcomed nearly 300 guests from Macau, Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area to its 2026 Charity Gala Dinner. The event took place on 30 October at the Grand Ballroom of MGM MACAU under the theme “Cannes: Le Festival.” It celebrated the friendship between France and Macau while uniting the business community behind a charitable cause.

Guests attended a cocktail reception featuring a string quartet and magician Elliot. They then enjoyed a five-course French dinner, live entertainment by The Royals and Jandira, and a Lucky Draw.

4th Macau ESG Awards Recognize Sector Leadership

The program included the presentation of the 4th Macau ESG Awards. MGM China received Best Project for its Responsible Gaming Community Care Partnership Scheme. E Novation Technologies Limited earned Best SME for environmental technologies and smart solutions. The Macau Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility in Greater China (MICSRGC) was awarded Best NGO for advancing sustainability and corporate social responsibility through research and education in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.

Funds Support Deaf Community Education Initiative

The gala raised MOP$68,060 (US$8,415) for the Macau Deaf Association’s “Monday Sign Language” initiative. The sum will fund production of 14 weekly educational videos from January to April 2027. Deaf and hard-of-hearing young people will present the videos to build public understanding of Macau Sign Language.

Rutger Verschuren, FMCC Chairman, thanked guests, sponsors, partners and donors for their support. “Macau is the natural stepping-stone between France and the Greater Bay Area,” he said. “That is where FMCC wants to make a difference: helping SMEs find their way, opening doors for business, and giving something back to the community.”
