Octoplay integrated with MrQ, its thirteenth UK operator group, three years after a March 2023 licence and December 2023 debut with Paddy Power and Betfair. The studio operates in 20 jurisdictions and cites the UK as the benchmark for all development. MrQ highlighted performance-based lobby placement.
SCCG Take — UK operator selections reward demonstrated player metrics over catalogue size. Suppliers scaling in this market must treat early performance data as the binding constraint on further expansion.
Octoplay has gone live with MrQ. The integration adds the fast-growing UK online casino brand as the thirteenth operator group for the supplier in the jurisdiction where it maintains its widest coverage.
The studio secured its UK licence in March 2023. It first went live that December with Paddy Power and Betfair. MrQ now becomes the thirteenth operator group in the market, alongside bet365 and Evoke.
Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay, said: “We launched our first game in the UK, so this market sets the standard for everything we build. Operators here re-order their lobbies on performance, and being asked back by new brands is the endorsement that matters.”
Daniel Pascoe, Senior Casino Manager at MrQ, said: “We’re picky about what goes in our lobby. Every game has to earn its place with our players, not just fill a slot. Octoplay have done exactly that. Their games are sharp, built with UK players in mind, and since going live they’ve become a genuine part of the MrQ mix.”
Octoplay holds approvals across 20 regulated jurisdictions. The list includes Malta, the UK, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Finland, Brazil, New Jersey, Michigan, Ontario, Georgia, Croatia, Alberta, and Pennsylvania. Three years after its first game release, the supplier provides content to leading operators in every market entered. The UK launch with MrQ illustrates how performance data drives repeat selection inside the same territory.
Suppliers must deliver measurable lobby results to convert initial placements into expanded partnerships. MrQ’s selective approach shows operators in this market allocate space according to player metrics rather than portfolio breadth. Content providers entering or scaling in the UK will face the same test: sustained performance that justifies reordering over newer alternatives. Octoplay’s trajectory indicates this standard now shapes product decisions from day one of any regulated rollout.
