The WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Championship has reached its final table after Day 3 action reduced the field at Bay 101 in Northern California. Only six players remain from the original 584 entrants, each with a guaranteed minimum payout of $94,000. That final table won't be played until Dec. 15 at Wynn Las Vegas as part of the World Poker Tour's season-ending festival.
Stacks and Player Profiles
Quoc Mai enters as chip leader with 10,165,000 chips. Chahn Jung is close behind at 9,075,000, while Ziao "Zeo" Guo holds 4,095,000 in third. Guo has appeared on Hustler Casino Live nearly 100 times since its 2021 launch.
Shawn Daniels is the lone remaining Shooting Star bounty and the only WPT Champions Club member left. He holds 3,000,000 chips and has more than $3.5 million in live tournament cashes. Eric Zheng returns with 2,065,000 chips. William Davis is the short stack at 700,000.
Structure of the Delayed Final
The winner will earn $470,500, according to reporting by PokerNews. The contest is set to be livestreamed from Wynn and figures to run long. Mai and Jung command over 220 big blinds each, Guo has over 100, Zheng holds 52, and Davis has 18. The festival also includes a $3 million guaranteed Super Gold Million tournament and a WPT Prime Championship.
