Swiss Casinos finished deploying ReelLink across its four venues, now live on 24 machines with 17 more planned for a total of 41 by year-end. The platform decouples online content from hardware, enabling rapid updates and performance tracking while integrating with existing systems. Certified by BMM Testlabs, it addresses the content gap in a regulated land-based market.
SCCG Take — ReelLink reduces hardware commitment risk and aligns physical floors with online content velocity. Its Swiss success offers a compliance-tested model for operators and providers eyeing broader adoption.
Swiss Casinos has completed the rollout of its in-house ReelLink technology for delivering online game content to the physical casino floor. The platform is now live at all four venues: Casino Zurich, Casino Zürichsee in Pfäffikon, Casino Winterthur and Casino St. Gallen. It currently runs on 24 machines, with a further 17 planned before the end of the year to reach a group total of 41.
The deployment began at Winterthur and Pfäffikon in December 2025 and extended to Zurich and St. Gallen in July 2026, according to reporting by iGaming Future. ReelLink separates game content from the physical slot cabinet. Certified online titles can be sent to approved machines in seconds and updated cabinet by cabinet.
This approach allows a casino floor to refresh at the pace of an online lobby rather than waiting for new machines. The platform integrates with the casino’s existing management system, so player tracking, accounting and regulatory reporting remain unchanged. It enables new titles without hardware installation and draws on a larger library than any single manufacturer provides. The system also records performance data for each title.
ReelLink was developed to meet Switzerland’s tight regulatory standards. It passed certification for the Swiss land-based casino market through BMM Testlabs. Swiss Casinos Technology AG, the company behind the platform, maintains ISO 27001 certification for information security.
Marcel Tobler, CEO of Swiss Casinos AG, said: “We built ReelLink to change how players experience a casino floor. People now expect the choice and the steady stream of new content they get online, and land-based casinos have to meet that to stay relevant.”
He added: “Having it running across all four of our casinos shows the idea holds up in a live environment, not just on paper. From here, we want to build ReelLink out internationally alongside game providers and other operators.”
Thomas Cavelti, Casino Director at Casino Zürichsee in Pfäffikon, said: “Bringing a new machine onto the floor has always carried a risk, because you commit to the hardware before you know whether players will take to the game. ReelLink takes most of that away. We can put fresh titles in front of guests without buying and swapping cabinets each time, and because we can see how people actually play, we get an early sense of which games are worth backing.”
Deborah Conte Santoro, Managing Director of ReelLink, said: “ReelLink isn’t technology for its own sake – it answers a concrete problem, the content gap between online and the casino floor. Players have grown used to enormous choice and a constant flow of new games online, while the floor has stayed largely fixed.”
She added: “By separating the game from the cabinet, casinos in Switzerland and, in time, elsewhere can run their online and land-based offerings at the same pace. We went live here in December 2025 and have treated that as a starting point, developing the platform further every day since.”
The completion of this phased deployment marks the end of an initial rollout that began in late 2025. Swiss Casinos operates four land-based casinos and an online casino in Switzerland.
