ATG restructured operations from 1 October 2026 with a new product department under Jesper Komstadius as CPO and Therese Haeggblom Widmark as CIO. Changes integrate commercial functions and IT ahead of the V75 relaunch on 28 November. The operator reported SEK 6bn revenue in 2025 and returned SEK 2.3bn to racing bodies.
SCCG Take — Leadership changes sharpen product and technology focus to lift digital performance while sustaining ATG’s funding of Swedish racing.
ATG has established a new product department to re-energise its online betting platform and wagering services. The initiative forms part of a group-wide restructuring of operating units beginning on 1 October 2026 and is led by acting Chief Executive Jörgen Forsberg.
Jesper Komstadius has taken the role of Chief Product Officer to head the new department and join the management team. Komstadius will develop ATG’s digital products and services.
Lotta Nilsson, CFO and Deputy CEO, said: “With clearer responsibilities for the new product department we will have better conditions to develop our products and services, set the right priorities and use our development power where it makes the biggest difference.
“For our customers, this will ultimately be noticeable through better gaming experiences.”
The restructuring follows plans to relaunch an updated V75 as the flagship Saturday racing pool on 28 November (replacing V85). Svensk Travsport is reviewing the Saturday racing programme so that races are more evenly matched and competitive.
ATG’s commercial division headed by Chief Commercial Officer Katarina Widman will integrate responsibility for horse betting, sports betting and casino across offers, marketing and sales. IT receives a clearer remit covering stable and secure operations, cybersecurity, platforms and data.
Therese Haeggblom Widmark is now Chief Information Officer and joins the management team. She had been acting CIO before leading ATG’s IT development and was appointed as Daniel Santikos prepares to leave the company this autumn.
Nilsson added: “Both Jesper and Therese have broad experience of ATG’s operations so they will bring with their strengths what they know best to the continued development of work in our management team as well as within the company.”
According to SBC News, ATG is owned by Sweden’s trotting and galloping sports organisations. The group reported revenue of SEK 6bn in 2025 and handed over about SEK 2.3bn to Svensk Travsport and Svensk Galopp last year.
