Seneca Resorts & Casinos unveiled a new single eagle feather logo and brand promise as it nears its 25th anniversary. The refresh covers messaging, content updates, and employee training applied consistently across its three New York properties while each retains distinct identity. The logo debuts on Buffalo Sabres jerseys and at Bills stadium.
SCCG Take — The refresh ties Seneca cultural symbols directly to commercial guest experience, supporting differentiation and loyalty through sports venue visibility without altering individual property brands.
Seneca Resorts & Casinos has announced a completed brand refresh as it nears its 25th anniversary. The update includes a new corporate logo plus supporting elements across messaging and guest touchpoints. The single eagle feather logo points skyward in reference to the gustoweh, the traditional headdress of the Seneca Nation.
“The single feather connects directly with our Seneca identity and culture but also signifies that we are always aiming to push the world class experience we provide our guests even higher,” said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Resorts & Casinos President & CEO. “From this elevated brand position, we want our guests to know, feel and understand the Seneca difference in every aspect of our operation and to identify with the experience that only comes with visiting our properties, digitally or in person.”
The refresh adds a new brand promise framework, revised messaging, and updates to the mobile app, website, email, social media channels, and photography. It also includes brand promise training for guest-facing employees. Cynthia Liu, Seneca Resorts & Casinos Chief Marketing Officer, stated that the work creates an image of expectations while shaping delivery that meets and exceeds them.
The brand promise and standards apply across three properties: Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, NY; Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca, NY; and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in downtown Buffalo, NY. Each property will keep its own name and logo.
“Each of our properties has its own distinct personality, from the big moments and bold energy at Seneca Niagara, to the relaxed escape and intimate feel of Seneca Allegany and the fast-paced urban vibe at Seneca Buffalo Creek,” said Nephew. “The pillars of our brand provide the foundation for the unique qualities of each Seneca property to truly soar.”
The new logo makes its debut this weekend as the home jersey patch for the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center near Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. It will also appear at Highmark Stadium, home of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills, where the 16,500 sq. ft. Seneca Resorts & Casinos Field Club sits at field level near the sideline. The changes were first detailed by Indian Gaming.
