Delasport received dual supplier registrations in Alberta for its platform and critical gaming systems, its second Canadian market after Ontario. Approvals enable immediate supply of PAM, sportsbook, and casino aggregation following the province’s 13 July 2026 launch. Regulators project CA$1.2bn first-year GGR where 70% of play is currently unregulated.

SCCG Take — Proven Ontario compliance allows rapid Alberta deployment, letting operators convert unregulated volume into channelised GGR more efficiently than untested suppliers.

Delasport obtained two supplier registrations from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis. The approvals cover iGaming Goods or Services Supplier – Platform Provider and Critical Gaming Systems Supplier. These registrations allow the company to supply its Player Account Management platform, proprietary sportsbook, and casino aggregation product to operators in the province.

Alberta’s regulated online gaming launched on 13 July 2026. The province becomes Delasport’s second Canadian market after Ontario. In Ontario the supplier’s technology and managed services support licensed brands including TitanPlay, Maverick Games, and Betnova.

Compliance and Market Entry Details

Delasport connected its platform to Alberta’s Central Self-Exclusion system and configured it for the automatic daily, weekly, and monthly reporting required by the regulator. The supplier pointed to TitanPlay’s first-attempt success in obtaining Responsible Gambling Council RG Check Accreditation with a high overall score as evidence of its readiness.

Ontario’s regulated market took CA$82.7bn in wagers and produced CA$3.2bn in gross gaming revenue in fiscal 2024-25. Alberta officials estimate roughly 70 per cent of local play still runs through unregulated channels. H2 Gambling Capital projects the new regulated market will generate around CA$1.2bn of first-year gross gaming revenue.

As reported by G3 Newswire, Filippo Ferri, Chief Compliance Officer at Delasport, said: “Our success in Ontario has demonstrated that we have the technology, expertise and operational capabilities to help operators succeed in highly regulated Canadian markets. We’re ready to support both existing and new partners as they enter Alberta.”
