Stephen Crystal, Founder and CEO of SCCG Management announced today that the Arizona Department of Gaming awarded the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation one of ten available Tribal Licenses for event wagering. Said Crystal of the event, “Representing Betfred USA, we were extremely gratified to announce back in August of this year, that our client partner, Betfred USA Sports, was selected by the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, to bring sports betting to Arizona residents in partnership with the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort. Said Ted Vogt, Department of Gaming Director, on the announcement of the results of the evaluation process, “..the hard work of Department staff, has allowed Arizona to be one of the fastest states to operationally start these new games since the passing of the enabling legislation.”
“This enabling process by regulators”, said Crystal, “allows Arizonans to legally participate in event wagering on September 9, 2021. To that end, Betfred USA is working with the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort to bring its world class retail and online sports wagering operation to Arizonans in late 2021.”
