England placed second in Group D, defeating the Netherlands and Wales after starting their campaign with a 2-1 loss to France.

For the first leg of the Bet Builder double, I’m backing England to score at least one goal on Thursday night. The Lionesses scored in each of their three group games, tallying 11 goals, only surpassed by Spain (14) in the tournament. Sarina Wiegman’s side has scored at least one goal in 23 of their last 24 matches across all competitions, dating back to August 2023.
While Sweden conceded only one goal during the group stage against Germany, they now face a tougher challenge against the European champions, England. Peter Gerhardsson’s team didn’t keep a clean sheet in their Euro 2025 qualifier in England.

To complete the Bet Builder double, I’m adding a minimum of one Sweden card. Cards were scarce during the group stage, but that may change in the knockout rounds. Sweden received one card in their matchday two win over Poland and will likely have more defensive work against England.
