Stake, a crypto casino platform, has introduced its fast-fold format online poker game worldwide and in the US, featuring $1 million in prizes to mark its debut. The new poker variant, called Next!, was launched earlier this month on both Stake’s US sweepstakes and international platforms, offering “$1m Cash Drops giveaways.”
Next! is a swift and straightforward poker variant familiar to many experienced online poker players, where players are moved to a new table immediately after folding their hand. It supports both cash games and tournaments.
The $1m Cash Drops are designed to reward random players at Next! tables based on hand volume. When a table is chosen, three to ten big blinds are added to the pot for players to compete for.
In March, Next! will feature micro stakes cash games with buy-ins capped at SC50 and small stakes tournaments capped at SC20 in Stake Cash. Reports indicate that higher-stakes games might be introduced if the format is well-received.
