Canada Soccer has renewed its contentious sponsorship and broadcast agreement with Canadian Soccer Business (CSB) under enhanced terms for the organization ahead of this summer’s World Cup. The new 11-year deal, set to last through 2037, includes an option for a five-year extension despite past conflicts during the initial 10-year contract. These conflicts led to player strikes and a $40 million lawsuit by the Canadian Soccer Players Association against Canada Soccer board members two years ago.
