Mike Francesa is skeptical about Robert Saleh receiving another opportunity. The former Jets coach has been appointed head coach of the Tennessee Titans after his role as the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. Saleh’s record with the Jets was 20-36, and Francesa attributes his new position to the dysfunction of the Jets under Aaron Glenn. Francesa, speaking on his BetRivers podcast, criticized Saleh, stating he was not an effective head coach and questioned his ability to call defensive signals, which he did not do previously. Francesa emphasized that the Jets have their own issues but believes Saleh’s appointment is unwarranted and doubts his success in Tennessee. Brian Daboll will join Saleh as the offensive coordinator, working with quarterback Cam Ward. Francesa remains pessimistic about their success given the organization they are in.
