Coventry aims to solidify their lead at the top of the Championship table as they visit Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon to face playoff-contending QPR, in a game promising goals.
Julien Stephan’s team has scored 40 goals in their first 29 Championship games this season, with a striking 26 (65%) of those goals at home.
The R’s have scored in 13 out of 14 league games at home, netting multiple goals in six of their last seven, and will look to keep up their strong goal-scoring performance against a Coventry defense that has kept only one clean sheet in their last 10 away Championship games.
Frank Lampard’s squad leads the league in scoring with 62 goals in 29 matches, 31 (50%) of which came away.
The Sky Blues have only failed to score in four Championship matches this season—scoring 2+ goals in 17 (59%) of them—and are optimistic about scoring against a QPR defense that’s kept only one clean sheet in their last 10 home games, conceding multiple goals in six (60%).
