**14.00pm BetGoodwin Download The App Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle**

LOCAL DERBY is the one to beat in the opener, having won two of his last three starts, including a successful run at Exeter. He’s up 6lb but shows potential for more. MILD MAGIC, in her third handicap start, may pose the biggest threat.

**Tips: LOCAL DERBY & MILD MAGIC**

**14.35pm BetGoodwin Sussex Champion Handicap Chase**

Despite being in the latter part of his career, EDWARDSTONE can dominate in the Sussex Champion Chase. Dropping from a Grade 1 event at Ascot, he previously won a Grade 2 race at Kempton. Well handicapped at a mark of 151, he should outclass the competition.

**Tips: EDWARDSTONE**

**15.10pm Roy Reeve Memorial Maiden Hurdle**

LORIKO stands out, returning to two miles with his handler in top form. His previous second at Ascot is the best form available, making him the favorite in this winnable race.

**Tips: LORIKO**

**15.45pm Southern Cranes & Access Ltd Novices’ Handicap Hurdle**

This event is competitive. HIGH FIBRE arrives in good form, having backed up a win by finishing second at Ludlow. He seems well treated and should perform well, while RELIGIOUS CROSS shows potential for improvement with only two starts.

**Tips: HIGH FIBRE & RELIGIOUS CROSS**

**16.25pm BetGoodwin Sussex National Handicap Chase**

The Sussex National is likely to favor HAVAILA. The consistent seven-year-old recently won easily at Newbury and has performed well in previous course starts. He’s a strong contender over marathon distances and enters off a career-best performance.

**Tips: HAVAILA**

**16.55pm Gordon And Angela Ashdown Handicap Hurdle**

A TICKATICKATIMING gets a slight edge in this open contest. Her sole win was at this venue, and she recently finished a close third here. Back down in grade and off a reduced mark, she seems a solid choice.

**Tips: A TICKATICKATIMING**
