Controversial rapper 6ix9ine, known as Daniel Hernandez, is serving three months in prison for breaking the terms of his supervised release. A video was shared by Rainbet, a crypto gambling site for which the 29-year-old is an ambassador, depicting the New York City native playing a $50,000 hand of blackjack from prison.
The video begins with an automated message indicating the call is from a federal prison. Two individuals appear in the back of a jewelry store discussing the $50,000 owed for a piece being made. They choose to wager the $50,000 on a single hand of blackjack via 6ix9ine’s Rainbet account.
The dealer went bust, leading to a $50,000 profit on the hand.
Although 6ix9ine faced challenging odds with a 13 against the dealer’s 10, fortune favored him as the dealer went bust, resulting in a $50,000 gain.
Previously, 6ix9ine shared other videos from prison gambling on the site. In January, he claimed to have paid $10,000 for a phone to enter his cell and proceeded to bet $15,000 on a hand of blackjack.
Rainbet has gained several prominent figures as representatives of the brand, including Adin Ross, Ryan Garcia, and Cuffem.
