Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day focuses on the MLS, highlighting a goals-based selection in one of the matches.
⚽️ New England Revolution vs Inter Miami
???????? MLS
⏰ Thursday 10 July, 00:30
Inter Miami visit Gillette Stadium to face the struggling New England Revolution early Thursday, with expectations for the visitors to score at least two goals.
Inter Miami returned to MLS last weekend with a win after their Club World Cup performance, overcoming a deficit to defeat CF Montreal 1-4, in a game where Gabriel secured a full-house of winners.
Following a winless streak in May, Javier Mascherano’s squad now heads to Gillette Stadium after three decisive victories (4-2, 5-1 & 1-4) and aims to extend their winning streak to four against their hosts.
After losing four of their first six MLS games this season, Caleb Porter’s team went on a nine-game unbeaten streak, climbing the Eastern Conference standings.
However, the Revs have only managed one point from their last four games, losing at Portland and at home to FC Cincinnati and Nashville SC, but managing a draw by coming back from three down against the Colorado Rapids in their last home game.
Bet of the Day
Javier Mascherano’s side has scored 40 goals in their first 17 MLS games this season, with 18 (45%) coming in eight away matches.
The Herons have scored 2+ goals in 11 (65%) of their MLS matches this season, netting 3+ in seven of their last nine, and I’m backing them to score at least twice against a Revs defense that has conceded multiple goals in their last three games (2-3, 3-3 & 2-1), earning only one point.
Additionally, Inter Miami won both games against the Revs last season, scoring 10 goals in total (1-4 & 6-2), making them likely to score another brace in Greater Boston early Thursday.
- Inter Miami to Score Over 1.5 Goals
