Xana, who passed away six years ago from osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer, was only nine. Celebrating a career pinnacle, Luis Enrique honored his daughter, saying she was “always in my heart.”
After the match, PSG fans displayed a tifo of Luis and Xana, echoing the 2015 moment when he celebrated with her after Barcelona’s Champions League win. “The fans’ banner for my family was very emotional,” said Luis Enrique. “I always think about my daughter.”
