Football Bet Of The Day: Head To Florida For Saturday Night Goals – SCCG Management

After achieving an impressive nine wins from ten in Iceland on Thursday night, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day takes me to the MLS, where I’ve identified a goals-based selection in one of the matches.

⚽️ Orlando City vs Chicago Fire

???????? MLS

⏰ Sunday 1 June, 00:30

Orlando aims to maintain their strong start to the season as they host the Chicago Fire at the Inter&Co Stadium tonight, in a match that promises goals.

Oscar Pareja’s team ranks as the fourth-highest scorers in the MLS this season, with 30 goals in their first 16 matches, 20 (67%) of which were scored at home.

The Lions have only failed to score in one of their eight home games this season, scoring multiple times in six (75%) of them, and they will be optimistic about penetrating a Chicago defense that hasn’t managed a clean sheet away from home this season, conceding 20 goals.

Gregg Berhalter’s side has scored 25 goals in their first 14 MLS matches this season, with a league-high 18 (72%) coming on the road.

The Fire have scored in all eight (100%) of their away matches this season, netting 2+ goals in six (75%) of them, and will aim to extend their remarkable away goal-scoring record against an Orlando defense that has kept just three clean sheets at home this season, conceding 11 goals.

Bet of the Day

Orlando’s first eight MLS home matches this season have averaged an impressive 3.88 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals occurring in six (75%) of them, including four of their last five across all venues, while five (63%) have seen goals at both ends.

The Fire’s first eight MLS away matches have averaged a staggering 4.75 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals hitting in all eight (100%) of them, and I’m backing that trend to continue in Florida on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

  • Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals
