- Sports betting in Missouri to commence on Dec. 1, 2025
BetMGM has secured entry to Missouri’s sports betting market.
The partnership with Century Casinos allows BetMGM to introduce its platform in Missouri, contingent on receiving a license.
The arrangement permits BetMGM to run online sports betting, with the possibility of physical sportsbooks at Century’s locations.
BetMGM Chooses Market Access Partner
The deal involves sharing BetMGM’s net gaming revenue with Century, including a guaranteed minimum.
“We are thrilled to join forces with BetMGM, a leading name in online sports betting and entertainment,” said Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger, Co-CEOs of Century Casinos. “This partnership is another advancement in utilizing our Missouri licenses to provide exceptional entertainment for our patrons.”
BetMGM had plans to apply for a Missouri license and considered several partnerships, including one with the Kansas City Chiefs.
State legislation permits each sports team and casino one retail and one online sports betting license, with the ability to partner with an online operator.
The multi-year partnership with Century is confirmed, yet not the primary method for market entry.
Missouri sports betting is set to launch on Dec. 1, 2025.
