Arne Slot withdrew from the League Managers Association’s annual awards event in London on Tuesday following a disturbing incident at Liverpool’s Premier League victory parade. The head coach was set to receive two prestigious awards for his successful first season in English football. However, due to the incident in Liverpool city centre where a car plowed into a crowd on Water Street, injuring 65 people, Slot and senior Liverpool officials opted not to attend.
