Club Pro Guy Teams Up with Kalshi for a Wacky Betting Comeback
Club Pro Guy (CPG), the beloved satirical figure in the golf world, has officially returned—and he’s bringing a new partner along for the ride.
Best known for his off-the-wall golf commentary and fictional creations like the elusive Three Jack National and the Second Hold Foundation, CPG has announced a new partnership with Kalshi, a prediction market platform that allows users to wager on real-world events ranging from sports outcomes to natural disasters.
A Comeback in Classic CPG Style
After disappearing from social media in the fall, CPG made his grand re-entrance in April via a video filmed on the side of I-635. In it, he rebranded the busy highway shoulder as “the future first tee at Three Jack National,” referencing his never-actually-happening golf course project.
“Hey everybody, Club Pro Guy here coming to you live from the future first tee at Three Jack National,” he says. “I’ve signed a lucrative partnership agreement with Kalshi, the premier prediction market in the industry.”
This latest venture merges CPG’s long-running affection for gambling with Kalshi’s unique platform, which has recently faced—but survived—regulatory scrutiny, maintaining its nationwide operations under the oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Wagering on the Weird
Unlike traditional betting sites, Kalshi specializes in yes-or-no bets on real-world events, categorizing them as derivatives rather than gambling.
For CPG, that’s a perfect match. “Kalshi is the only place where I can wager on really stupid things like the bet I placed last night on whether Mount Spurr in Alaska will erupt before July 1st,” he quipped in a recent video. “I don’t know sh*t about volcanoes, but I’ve got a hunch about this particular mountain and that it’s about to blow.”
While he’s now moved most of his new content behind a $5/month paywall, CPG continues to share free snippets and betting advice with his followers—always with his signature absurdity.
“You’ve always trusted me with your golf game. Now, I’m asking you to trust me by wagering your hard-earned money on obscure future events,” he said.
Kalshi, meanwhile, shows no signs of slowing, recently overcoming legal challenges in New Jersey and Nevada as it continues to redefine what it means to place a bet in the modern age.
