Amorim: ‘We have a lot of problems, we’re just in the beginning’
Frank defends substitutions after jeers from fans
Ruben Amorim criticized Manchester United for being too complacent after they managed to rescue a draw at Tottenham in a match they had dominated for extended periods.
Matthijs de Ligt’s header in the 96th minute ensured United remained unbeaten in five games, but their performance fluctuated significantly in a match they controlled after Bryan Mbeumo’s first-half goal. They were overtaken by goals from Mathys Tel and Richarlison before de Ligt’s late intervention. Amorim expressed concern about their lack of concentration during parts of the game when they were ahead.
