Tottenham is providing support for player Destiny Udogie after he was named as the Premier League footballer allegedly threatened at gunpoint by an agent in north London. The incident occurred on the night of Saturday, 6 September, while Udogie was out with a friend. Police detained the agent on suspicion of brandishing a weapon with intent to cause fear of violence and investigated him for allegedly blackmailing and threatening Udogie’s friend. The agent has not been charged with any offense, and there is no suggestion that he is Udogie’s agent.
