I had the privilege of representing BettorFantasy at the FSGA Summer Conference held in Cleveland on June 12th and 13th. Despite being smaller in scale compared to other conferences like SBC and G2E, the FSGA event attracted major brands in the fantasy, betting, and gaming space. Here’s a recap of the conference and the highlights that made it a resounding success.
The conference kicked off with a podcast and content creator workshop, featuring renowned personalities JJ Zacharison, Terrell Furman, and Adam Bernard. While panel discussions sometimes lack the interactive element, this one was different. JJ started by encouraging the audience to share their pain points as podcast hosts, fostering a collaborative environment where struggles were addressed and solutions were found. It was an outstanding panel, and I hope to see more of such evolving discussions in the future.
As the opening day progressed, I proudly represented BettorFantasy in the FSGA experts league fantasy football draft. The event was broadcasted on Sirius XM channel 87 and The Bettor Sports Network, amplifying its reach and excitement. Howard Bender, Britt Flinn, and Andrew Cooper emceed the draft, creating an unforgettable experience. Participating as an “expert” was a tremendous honor and an incredible opportunity for BettorFantasy.
In the evening, the conference showcased a thrilling startup pitch contest. Having emerged as winners in the same contest during February’s FSGA conference, it was exhilarating to be on the other side of the mic this time. Congratulations to LoserBall for winning this year’s contest, and kudos to all the companies that pitched their innovative ideas. The event highlighted the spirit of entrepreneurship and the abundance of talent within the industry.
The discussions on the following day predominantly revolved around the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the industry. Engaging insights were shared by brilliant minds, emphasizing that we are all navigating this AI frontier together. The key takeaway for me was the importance of embracing AI tools to drive our business objectives. While none of us need to be experts overnight, neglecting AI’s potential would be a disservice to our growth and progress.
Overall, the 2023 FSGA Summer Conference was a resounding success for BettorFantasy. The event delivered significant return on investment and provided invaluable networking opportunities. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved in organizing this conference, as their hard work and dedication made it an exceptional experience.
Looking ahead, I eagerly anticipate the 2024 Winter Conference in Las Vegas. The FSGA conferences have consistently proven to be a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and collaborate. It is a testament to the dynamism and vibrancy of the fantasy, betting, and gaming space.
In conclusion, the FSGA Summer Conference was a remarkable event that allowed BettorFantasy to showcase its expertise, learn from industry peers, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the future of our industry. We are grateful for the opportunity, and we are excited to continue pushing the boundaries of fantasy, betting, and gaming
